On August 12, 2021, at about 1:30 pm officers were called to 124 Maryland St. after 34-year-old Mark Smith was found inside dead from a gunshot wound. The Maryland St. residence was a drug house and investigators believe the murder of Smith was likely drug related. Individuals with the knowledge of who shot and killed Smith must come forward for this case to be solved.
