Savannah Streber

CR# 2004-00060019

Deceased Date: 2/28/2004 at 17 Yates St, Rochester, NY

On February 28, 2004 just after midnight 17 Yates St. was set ablaze with 8-year old Savannah Streber, along with two other children and the babysitter inside. Despite desperate attempts to save Savannah, she did not make it out of the house alive. Investigators were able to determine the fire was intentionally set, likely by a Molotov cocktail thrown through the back porch. Investigators have worked tirelessly on this case over the years. A prime suspect has been identified, but investigators lack the evidence needed to make an arrest.

Thanks to help from the public, on January 5, 2024 Timohty Kuhns was arrested for Murder 2nd Degree and Arson in the 1st Degree for intentionally starting the fire that killed Savannah!
