On August 10, 2003 Roger McCall was on Madison St. to pick up rent money from his property. While walking up a driveway he was shot and killed. McCall was a beloved WCMF radio personality and was known to the Rochester Community as “Unkle Rog”. He was posthumously inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame in 2017.
