On January 10, 1997 at about 12 o’clock in the afternoon a family member went to 46 Steko Ave and found Monique Smith and her neighbor, Debbie Perry shot to death inside the Smith family home. The investigation revealed Debbie Perry and Monique Smith were killed during a home invasion robbery at 46 Steko Ave. There are people who have information on this double murder and can help bring closure to the families; and justice to those who did it.
