On 4/1/97 just after midnight a person driving through found 37-year old Marne Brundige in the middle of Dewey Ave just north of Lyell Ave. suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was rushed to the hospital and within two hours she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
