Deceased Date: 9/11/2021 at 100 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY
On September 11, 2020 at about 10:00 pm officers were called to Cobbs Hill Park for the report of gunshots heard. Isiah Mathis was with at a party with a group of people in the park when he was shot. He was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle and died shortly thereafter. The crime scene was located in a parking lot off Norris Dr. Anybody who was at the gathering in the park and has information is asked to contact the Major Crimes Unit. Isiahs family is desperately seeking the answer to who and why Isiah was gunned down in the park.
UPDATE: On January 19, 2022, 21-year old Ronn Keitt-Smith was charged with Murder 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree for shooting and killing Mathis
