Deceased Date: 3/18/2021 at 1 Sawdey Way, Rochester, NY
On March 18, 2021, at about 2:00 in the morning officers responded to 1 Sawdey Way for the report of a female unconscious on the pavement. Upon arrival officers observed 25-year old Alyssa Spalty in the roadway suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was critically injured and rushed to the hospital, where she died a short time later. She was affectionately known to her close friends as “Panda”. The suspect in this case unexpectedly died in 2023 before the case was able to be closed with his arrest.
