On October 25, 2020 at about 9:30 pm officers responded to the area of 81 Colvin St for the report of several shots heard in the area. Upon arrival officers located 21-year old Jahmel Holmes on the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The investigation revealed Jahmel was sitting in a vehicle on Colvin St. with his friend, when a suspect approached on foot and fired multiple gunshots into the car. On October 26, 2020 Jahmel Holmes was died from his injuries.
