On September 13, 2020, the Major Crimes Unit responded to 357 Bernard St to for a shooting. 32-year old Jermaine Shelton was sitting in a vehicle when a suspect approached him on foot and fired multiple gunshots into the vehicle at him. Shelton was struck in the body and later pronounced dead at the hospital. The Major Crimes Unit is looking for any information that will lead to the identification of a suspect in the shooting death of Jermaine Shelton.
