On June 10th, 2019 at 11:32 p.m., Clinton Section officers responded to 103 Fourth Street after Deandre’s mother found him downstairs suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead a the scene. Investigators believe Jenkins was shot after answering a knock on his front door. The suspect(s) is believed to have fled the house on foot after the shooting.
