On January 4th, 2019 at 10:44 pm Genesee Section Officers responded to the gas station at 700 S. Plymouth Ave. for the report of a male shot. Upon arrival offices located Mr. Turner deceased in the parking lot. Officers believe that Mr. Turner was a victim of a robbery attempt prior to being shot and killed. There were many witness in the parking lot at the time of the robbery/murder of Chaunte Turner.
