On July 20, 2010, 21-year-old Dexter Jones was standing near a vehicle in front of 46 Fernwood Ave. with several of his friends. A suspect approached and fired multiple gunshots at the group. Jones was hit, rushed to the hospital and ultimately died from his injuries. Jones left behind two daughters.
