On January 26, 2008 Officers responded to the area of 178 Ellison St. after a passerby-by noticed an unresponsive man in a snowbank. Upon arrival officers located Jose Rivera in a snow bank suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Jose was pronounced dead at the scene.
