On December 1, 2005 at about 6:30 pm, 43-year-old James Henry Thomas Jr. was found shot to death in the doorway of his apartment at the corner of Hudson and Sobieski St. James was known to sell marijuana from the location and investigators believe the motive behind the murder was centered on the marijuana sales.
