On December 22, 2003 at about 1:00 am, Locust St. neighbors reported hearing gunshots on the street and then a man 29-year-old Stanley Washington was found lying outside 22 Locust St. with at least one gunshot wound to his torso. Investigators believe the murder of Washington may have been retaliation for a previous incident. Despite following up on many leads, the investigation has stalled.
