At about 9:00 am on the morning of October 5, 2003 the body of 31-year old Christopher Jackson was found in the rear parking lot of a church at 139 S. Winton Rd. The investigation revealed Jackson had likely been shot in the parking lot between 2-3 am. His white Chevy Cavalier was driven away from the murder scene after the shooting. The car was found on 10/8/03 on Sumner Pk. after being intentionally set on fire. It is probable Jackson was murdered as a result of a feud over drugs.
