On January 29, 1992 Eddie Williams at about 1:15 am was involved in an argument in front of 681 Brown St., which resulted in him being shot. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died from the injuries he sustained. Investigators were able to make an arrest and an indictment in this case, but witnesses later recanted and refused to cooperate, resulting in the charges against the alleged shooter being dismissed. Mr. Williams’s family continues to grieve his loss and still seek justice.
